Haruka (they/them/theirs) is a fourth year student studying Instrumental Music Education with minors in Asian American Studies and Racial Justice in Urban Schools. They identify as a queer + disabled second generation Japanese-American, and bring those identities with them into their work. Haruka currently serves as the Outreach Manager for the Queer Student Cultural Center, and is also involved with the Disability Resource Center and Rothenberger Institute. They emphasize inclusivity and accessibility in their work, and look forward to continuing to cultivate a safe and accepting space at APARC!
